The boundless and mysterious outback.
The Northern Territory (NT) is Australia's vast, sparsely populated heartland, famous for its dramatic red landscapes, ancient Aboriginal culture, unique wildlife (like crocodiles and birds), and iconic natural wonders such as Uluru (Ayer's Rock), Kakadu, and Litchfield National Parks. From tropical Top End to the arid Red Centre, it offers adventure with a mix of stunning wetlands, deserts, and rich Indigenous heritage, but demands preparation due to huge distances and potential dangers like saltwater crocodiles and remote conditions. It's a photographer's paradise. We enjoyed it.
