Vibrant and diverse.
Victoria is a state in the southeastern corner of Australia, known for its diverse landscapes, vibrant cultural scene, and the state capital, Melbourne. It is the second-smallest but most densely populated state in the nation.
Melbourne, Australia, is a vibrant, multicultural city celebrated as Australia's cultural and sporting capital, known for its dynamic arts scene, world-class food, distinctive laneways filled with street art, iconic sporting events (AFL, Australian Open, Melbourne Cup), legendary coffee culture (flat whites!), and a famous unpredictable "four seasons in one day" weather, all set within a blend of historic Victorian architecture and modern cityscapes. It's a hub for finance, education, and diverse communities, offering a high quality of life with easy access to stunning natural landscapes like the Great Ocean Road. The Great Ocean Road (B100) in Victoria, Australia, is a world-famous scenic highway built by returned WWI soldiers, stretching about 150 miles from Torquay to Allansford, offering dramatic coastlines, iconic rock formations (Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge), surf beaches (Bells Beach), koala spotting, and charming towns like Lorne and Apollo Bay, making it a must-do Australian road trip with stunning views of the Southern Ocean. We loved being driven on the Great Ocean Road with the photographs below showinig some of the sights.
